In North and South America, about 25% of wearers prefer vertical- and flat-folded respirators—and this number is growing every year. Some individuals opt for these styles because they’re more flexible around the edges and can adapt to the wearer’s facial features— often more easily than does a cone-style mask. This mask folds easily down the middle when not in use and fits well with goggles or helmets, making it convenient for many different types of work environments.
